Taipei Household Registration obtained  the ISO9002 accreditation after much hard work, becoming the first organization affiliated with the Executive Yuan to receive this honor . The office also forged a new path in establishing computerization of household registrations fees, receipts and payments. Population statistics and romanization of street names were made available to citizens via Internet, and 12 additional city websites and email sites were established to facilitate online services to citizens.
