Starting on April 9, every person entering Taipei City public buildings are required to wear a face mask

In response to the severe outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and to strengthen the protection of Taipei City workers and residents, starting on April 9, every person entering public buildings are required to wear a face mask and have the body temperature taken. Those who do not wear face masks will not be permitted to enter public buildings.
 
Taipei City pointed out, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, and the Ministry of Transportation and Communications announced that starting on April 1 all public transportation (including public buses, Taiwan railway, and high speed rail) passengers are required to wear face masks and have their body temperature taken. To ensure Taipei City Government continues to operate normally and to strengthen the health protection for city workers and residents, on April 9, the pandemic prevention measures will increase once more. All Taipei City public buildings, (including Taipei City Hall, district offices, police stations, Taipei public libraries, Taipei City Public Transportation Office, Traffic Adjudication Office, Taipei Metro Administration Building, Substitute Military Service Center, Taipei City Soldiers Cemetery, agencies under the Department of Social Welfare, community centers and assembly halls, Fire Department, Fire Safety Museum, Taipei City incineration plants, Taipei Confucius Temple, public mortuaries, employment service centers under Taipei City Department of Labor, Taipei Astronomical Museum, and Taipei City Youth Development Office) will require all visitors to wear face masks in addition to taking their body temperature when entering public buildings. Those who do not wear face masks will not be permitted to enter public buildings.
 
Taipei City Government urges all visitors to public buildings to wear masks and wash hands diligently for the purpose of maintaining your health and the health of others. Please also be mindful of the time, especially for business with deadlines. Be sure to wear a mask and schedule plenty of time for your business, so as not to affect your rights.
